I See You

Hello! Hello! I hope you’ve been doing ok as of late. I’ve been lucky enough to draw an immense amount of inspiration from someone and I’m feeling very grateful. I want to give a quick shout out to those who also may be struggling with something extra this winter, whatever it may be. XXOO

For all the Light Workers, Spiritual Mentors, Life Coaches, Awakening Guides. I See You.

For the woman who spent 20 years working full time as a housekeeper at a hotel and who is now disabled, and on food stamps….I see you.

This is for the struggling single parent who used to love Christmas but now hates it because although working multiple jobs, never has enough money and even must rely on the social services system to make ends meet… I see you.

For the young girl who succumbs to the unrelenting pressure to be beautiful and develops an eating disorder… I see you.

For the counselors, therapists, social workers, and rehab counselors, I see you.

This is for the battered soul of someone who suffers from mental illness and uses drugs and alcohol to escape. Who now sits in jail pondering suicide I see you.

For the bruised and battered Soul out there, who has nowhere to call home. I won’t forget to have cash on me next time because I See you when others won’t.

For the gay man or woman who, due to family, religious, or societal reasons remains closeted and may never get the chance to live their best authentic life.  I see you.

The firefighters, rescue workers, and police officers. I respect you, and I see you.

To the OTR Truck Driver who endures the blatant disrespect on the roadways and forces themselves to stay awake for the extra run only to barely break even for the week… I see you.

This is for the boy or girl who is teased and bullied because of their appearance as they happened to inherit the unfortunate combination of his parents’ least flattering features… I see you.

For the kindhearted wife and mother who has never touched a cigarette, drugs, nor alcohol yet somehow contracts a terminal disease. I see you.

This is for the beautiful soul who spent over 20 years serving her community as a teacher and in the nonprofit sector and who, after years of burnout, people pleasing, and selflessness, freed herself from an unhealthy marriage, and began living life on her own terms. And now, while embracing her authentic Soul, mentors’ others seeking their own awakening journey. I see you.

For anyone struggling out there… with anything…I SEE YOU. I LOVE YOU.

We’re all in this together.

Love,

Cody
